NS Digital.

Nathan Schram Digital's client reporting connection.

What it is

NS Digital is how our clients give Nathan Schram Digital read-only access to their Google marketing data, so we can prepare that client's reports. It isn't a public app: there's nothing to sign up for, and only businesses that work with us use it.

How connecting works

  1. We send you a private, single-use link for your organisation.
  2. You tick the Google products you want us to report on. Each one says what we read and what we never do.
  3. Google shows its consent screen for NS Digital. You confirm with the Google account that can already see those properties.
  4. We read the reporting data for the products you chose and use it to prepare your monthly performance reports.

What we read, and what we never do

Product What we read What we never do
Google Analytics Your Analytics reports and property settings Change your Analytics setup
Search Console Search performance and site status Change your Search Console settings
Tag Manager Your container configuration (to check tracking is working) Publish or edit tags
Google Ads Campaign performance. Google's consent wording says "edit", because Google Ads has no read-only permission; we only read. Change campaigns, budgets or billing
Business Profile Performance metrics, reviews and listing details. Google offers no read-only permission here either; we only read. Edit your listing, reply to reviews or post updates

Where your data goes

We store a copy of the data you choose in our private reporting warehouse, hosted by Hetzner in Germany. The access tokens Google issues are encrypted before we store them. Nathan Schram reviews the data to prepare your reports. Your data is used only for your reports. It's never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with other clients, and never used to train AI models.

Disconnecting

Remove NS Digital at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or email hello@nathanschram.com. We then revoke the token and delete our stored copy of it, and delete your warehoused data on the timelines in our data deletion instructions.

Google API Services User Data Policy

NS Digital's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The full detail is in our privacy policy.
