Practical digital help for
charities & not-for-profits.

// For Australian charities & not-for-profits

Reach more of the right people — with a clear case you can take to your board, and without adding to your team's load.

You're holding the website together alongside grant applications, reporting, volunteers, and the actual work. I'm one person who can take an honest look at your digital setup and tell you plainly what's worth doing, what isn't, and what to leave alone for now — in language you can hand straight to a board or a funder. For ACNC-registered charities, every service is 25% off.

// Recognition _ 01

If any of this sounds familiar.

Most of the not-for-profit managers I speak to are doing the digital side on top of everything else — the newsletter, the grant round, the volunteer roster — with no marketing person and a budget that has to justify itself to people who'd rather it went to the cause.

You don't need to become a digital expert to make a sensible call here. You need a plain read on where your website and online presence actually stand, what would genuinely help the people you're here to serve, and what's safe to skip — so nothing gets spent that didn't need to be.

That's usually where my work with a charity starts: not with a rebuild or a retainer, but with a clear, honest picture you can act on, share with your board, and keep either way.

// Common situations _ 02

Situations I get called about.

These are the moments not-for-profits tend to get in touch. You might recognise one, or a few at once.

The website doesn't clearly say what you do

Donors, volunteers, and the people you help all land on the same pages and leave unsure whether they're in the right place. Clarity for each of them, without three separate sites.

A campaign coming up

A fundraising push, an awareness week, a new program — and you need a clear page, a message that lands, and a simple way to see whether it worked. That's a page, the words, tracking, and a tidy report — pulled together, not a big production.

Reporting your board or funders will actually trust

You need to show what's working in plain numbers, not a dashboard nobody opens. Measurement set up so the picture is honest and easy to hand up the chain.

A tired site nobody can update

Often built years ago by a volunteer who's since moved on, and now no one can change it safely. A rebuild you own, set up so the next person can keep it running.

An independent second opinion

You're not sure your current web or marketing provider is the right one, and you'd like a straight read before you renew or rebuild — with no retainer waiting on the other side.

Being found, and being usable

People searching for the support or service you offer in your area should be able to find you — and everyone, including people with access needs, should be able to use the site once they're there.

Each of these maps to real work underneath — a website, search and tracking, a campaign setup, or just a clearer plan — but which one is rarely obvious from the outside. The Health Check is how I work that out with you.

// How it starts _ 03

How the work usually starts.

Before you commit budget to your digital marketing — a new website, SEO, AI search, ads — get your Digital Health Check. It'll give you a solid base to start from, instead of guessing. Yours to keep, whether you work with me afterwards or not.

It's a free 45-minute call where I walk you through a plain-English read of where things stand: what's working, what's worth fixing first, and what's safe to leave for now. You leave with a written summary you can act on, hand to your board, or use to decide whether to keep talking. For ACNC-registered charities, every service after that is 25% off — applied once I've checked your ABN, the same rate across everything I do.

If there's real work worth doing, the next step depends on what you need — a clearer plan first (a Strategic Digital Roadmap setting out what to do, in what order, and roughly what it costs), straight into the work, or ongoing monthly care once it's live. You can start anywhere and stop anywhere. No lock-in, no minimum term — pay-as-you-go works the same way. If you'd like to see the full picture first, here's how this works, stage by stage.

// Services _ 04

What I can help with.

The Health Check usually points at one or two of five things. I keep to these five so the work stays good:

Web design & development

a clear, fast website your supporters, volunteers, and the people you help can understand, trust, and act on.

SEO & analytics

help people find you, and see what's actually working instead of guessing. (This is the base everything else is measured against — it goes in first.)

AI search visibility & GEO

make your organisation easier for AI tools to understand and mention properly. Whether your supporters lean on these tools yet varies; this is as much about being ready as about today.

Paid search ads

reach people already searching for the support or cause you offer, with tracking in place before money goes out. (Grant funds sometimes restrict ad spend — worth checking your conditions first; I'll flag it if it comes up.)

Paid social ads

get in front of the right people before they're actively looking for you.

You don't need all five. Most not-for-profits need one or two, done properly. See how each one works →

// Scope _ 05

What this isn't.

So you know what you're getting: I'm one person, start to finish — you deal with me the whole way through. Everything I build, you own. Nothing's locked in, and the work is set up to be handed on cleanly if your team changes. A few things I deliberately don't do, so what I take on stays to a standard worth my name:

If something sits just outside that and there's a real reason to do it, ask anyway — the honest answer might be yes, or a name worth calling instead.

// Fit _ 06

Whether I'm the right fit.

// Likely a good fit if you're

Probably not the right fit if you need a full donor-management platform built, you want your social media run for you day to day, or you're a large national organisation that really needs an agency with a team behind it — in which case a Health Check is still a sensible free first step, and I'll say so honestly.

// Start _ 07

Start with a clear picture.

Not sure which of the above is you, or what to do first? That's exactly what the Health Check answers. Book a 45-minute call and I'll run a Free Digital Health Check on your existing setup beforehand, then walk you through it — so the conversation starts from a clear picture, not a pitch.
